Song of Eärendil is a rare Saga enchantment found in the 2023 Tales of Middle-earth Commander subset of Magic: The Gathering. Carrying a mana value of five with a green and blue color identity, this card brings a distinct strategic depth to any deck. The card is numbered 69 and was illustrated by Torgeir Fjereide, whose artwork defines the visual identity of this release. As a Saga, Song of Eärendil operates differently from standard creatures or sorceries. Upon entering the battlefield and during each subsequent draw step, it receives a lore counter. The card progresses through three chapters, each offering a powerful ability. Chapter I allows you to scry two and then draw two cards, providing immediate card advantage and filtering your library. Chapter II creates a Treasure token and a 2/2 blue Bird creature token with flying, generating both mana acceleration and an aerial threat. Finally, Chapter III puts a flying counter on each creature you control without flying, instantly granting evasion to your entire board presence before the Saga is sacrificed.
