Description
Released in 2008 as part of the Majestic Dawn set, Chingling appears as card number 58 in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This Basic Psychic-type Pokémon is recognized by its Pokédex number 433 and offers a distinct gameplay experience through its Baby Evolution ability. Unlike standard evolution lines, this card allows players to evolve a Chimecho from their hand directly onto Chingling, removing all damage counters in the process. This mechanic provides strategic value for collectors who appreciate unique interaction rules within the Psychic type. The card features artwork by Ken Sugimori, whose illustrations define the visual identity of the franchise during this era. With a retreat cost of just one and an attack called Uproar, Chingling serves as a functional piece for competitive and casual play alike. Collectors often seek out cards from the Majestic Dawn series to complete set collections or to explore the diverse abilities introduced during the Generation IV period. The straightforward design and clear text box make this card a staple for those building their Pokémon TCG library. Whether you are focusing on type-specific sets or completing the entire Majestic Dawn release, Chingling represents a key component of the era's strategic diversity.

Ability: Baby Evolution
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may put Chimecho from your hand onto Chingling (this counts as evolving Chingling) and remove all damage counters from Chingling.
Attack: Uproar
Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
It emits cries by agitating an orb at the back of its throat. It moves with flouncing hops.
