The Strictly Better // Strictly Better (cont'd) card is a distinctive double-faced token from the 2022 Streets of New Capenna Minigames expansion for Magic: The Gathering. Designated as card number 3 with the MSNC set code, this common rarity card functions as a central hub for social gameplay rather than a traditional spell or creature. Its unique double_faced_token layout allows it to facilitate interactive sessions for groups of 3-6 players, offering a break from standard competitive formats. The card’s primary function is to host a whimsical judging game that encourages creativity and debate among participants. Players open packs, select cards that fit specific categories chosen by the designated Judge, and compete to have their selection deemed the "best of the best" in wacky or subjective themes. This mechanic transforms the card into a versatile party tool, making it a valuable addition for collectors who enjoy the social and recreational sides of the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. The 15-minute gameplay loop ensures quick, engaging sessions that can be easily integrated into gaming nights or conventions. The Streets of New Capenna Minigames set captures the vibrant, heist-inspired aesthetic of the New Capenna cityscape, and this card embodies the playful spirit of the release. Whether used to break the ice before a tournament or as a standalone party game, the Strictly Better card offers a unique experience that highlights the versatility of the Magic brand. Collectors often seek out these minigame cards for their novelty and their ability to foster community interaction, making them a memorable part of any Magic: The Gathering collection.

3-6 players | 3-6 packs | 15 minutes OBJECTIVE: Some cards are strong in Standard, others shine in Draft, but which card looks the tastiest? Take turns being the Judge and decide which Magic card is the best of the best in each wacky category. GET READY: Randomly determine who will be the first Judge. Each player then opens a pack, removes any cards without Magic backs, and looks at their cards. LET'S PLAY: The Judge chooses a category from the list on the back of this card (either their favorite or at random). The other players each secretly submit a card from their pack that they think fits the category. When the Judge has collected all the cards, they reveal each card, read it aloud, then choose the winner. The Judge role then passes to the next player, and they select a different category.
