Description
The 2007 Pokémon Secret Wonders Golem card, numbered 29, stands as a formidable presence in the Trading Card Game. As a Stage 2 Fighting-type Pokémon, Golem evolves from Graveler and brings a substantial 130 HP to the battlefield. This release is categorized as a Rare card, making it a sought-after component for collectors assembling the complete Secret Wonders set. Golem’s design in the Secret Wonders expansion emphasizes its raw power and durability. The card features two distinct attacks that highlight its offensive capabilities. The first, Double Throw, allows the player to deal 30 damage to two of the opponent's Pokémon simultaneously. This multi-target attack is particularly effective for controlling the board and applying pressure across multiple fronts. The second attack, Megaton Rock, deals 80 damage to the defending Pokémon, with an optional risk-reward mechanic that deals 40 damage instead to reduce incoming damage during the opponent's next turn. Beyond gameplay, Golem holds a special place in Pokémon lore. Known for its boulder-like body, Golem is so tough that even dynamite cannot harm it. This resilience is reflected in its high HP and defensive strategies available through its attacks. Collecting this card provides a glimpse into the strategic landscape of the mid-2000s Pokémon TCG. Whether you are building a nostalgic collection or seeking specific cards for your favorites, Golem from Secret Wonders offers both historical significance and mechanical interest. Its status as a Rare card ensures it remains a valuable piece for those dedicated to completing the set.

Attack: Double Throw
Choose 2 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 30 damage to each of them. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Attack: Megaton Rock (80)
You may do 40 damage instead of 80 to the Defending Pokémon. If you do, during your opponent's next turn, any damage done to Golem by attacks is reduced by 40 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).
It sheds its hide once a year. Its boulderlike body is so tough, even dynamite can't harm it.
